My brother Barrie and myself attended a very touching Memorial Service on Friday 8 September 2006 at The Parish Church of St. Mary The Virgin, Saxingham Nethergate, Norwich, Norfolk, in memory of the Late Peter Thomas. The service lasted approximately one hour with a wonderful tribute paid to Peter by his brother in law Geoff Blyth.

Peter was a rather special person in both my brother Barrie and my life as he paid many visits to our home in Jersey throughout the sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties, as a guest of my late parents. My mother had a great influence in his marriage to Margaret. Their wedding anniversary, 20 June, was the same as my parents.
